Threshold
If we are able to "expect the unexpected"(-SideKicks Movie) we wont feel over burden. Of course there will be sometimes that the unexpected and expected challenges can happen. At that time we could feel like we can't take on those challenges alone, it is okay to ask for help. And that is okay. Sometimes, when darkness falls and there is no light, a little help and a smile is all that is needed. It is important too to manage ourselves and the issues that arise in which we need to face. Of, course I am not an expert about this. But I know that if all things are structured in a organized manner, then there can be less stress everyday. Each choice we make and each chapter in which we finish could help us push the threshold of dysfunction higher and higher. Let see how high we can push it up.

Mission Statements
As we started to discuss what each group mission statements should be. I started to think what would be the core of the statement. What would we stand for, how would we implement those beliefs and values into the consulting work we would do.
I feel that we should be honest in our dealings with the clients. A mission statement is just more then words it is the backbone of any company, firm, group or team. It is the cornerstone of a group. After the mission statement is formed then the group can build up upon that mission statement and establish the foundation of that certain team.

Stakeholders
In our last class we discussed how stakeholders can affect work performance. Through out the class we brainstormed and found out there are many stakeholders in our lives. Whether it is a religious affiliation someone belong to. Or if it was the accountant in the accounting office that makes sure that the company did not go over their budget.
There are a lot of different areas of life that helps us determine what and whom our stakeholders are; at work, at home and with friends. I think if we learn to know what stakeholders are important to us in those areas, then we could assert ourselves to be effective and active in those roles. This is how we can optimize each sub groups in our lives.

Space Experience
In each organization, company, even life itself can go through up and downs, trials and problems. At this time there can be help. Through adequate communication, problems in these institutions can be resolved. Sometimes problems can be resolved by an adhocracy, a system of delegates from a variety of places, and past experience, if worked together those delegates can come up with solutions that can be implemented into the company where it can have a positive affect. This could happen if the right people are on board. Meaning, it is crucial to have the right people for any given job.
In the Harvard Case study, Columbia Last mission it shows that the many sub organization were unwillingly to communicate to the other organization. This caused a serious problem in fact it cost lives, not only the ones that died, but, those ones family that miss and long for them.
NASA wants more funds for many more space missions. If they market themselves to the public, congress, or to the other nations of the world, then NASA and there space missions might able to flourish in the next generation. For it is said, "the children are the future". If they the next generations are interested in the flight program it might cause the space missions and other space programs and discoveries to be rejuvenated into a world wonder.

competition
In organizations communication, to be effective there has to been a group effort to help the problem solving, business objectives and etc. The road maybe rocky and have its high and lows but, in the long run if the group members work hand in hand then success in that organization will be high.
This is true in a religious stand point. Each member of a religion if they all pull their own weight and a little extra when needed, the success rate is higher then those that are looking out for "me" and not "us".
This was so demonstrated in class, all of us in the end worked together. The activity then became a success.
In class we discussed a concept of ruthless compassion. I feel ruthless is a negative cogitation which I feel does not mesh well. In the gospel perceptive how can the apostles and the prophet be ruthless, they can not. For me I would feel better saying and know this concept as determined compassion.
In today world one could strive for compassion for others in also be determined to promote a cause that could and might benefit others. A great leader shows these attributes and the willingness to share them with his or her colleagues.
Is competition bad? It could drive people to do great things to achieve a higher plane of thought and action. But can this be achieved with competition? My theory, I think it can be achieved by conditioning the workplace with the attitude of everyone is different and all bring many different great possibility to work. When I was working at Dillards, people got promoted for the number of sales they produced. The store managers and regional representative did not look to the ones that did not produce much but they worked hard in getting the floor ready for customers. When people sold items some people stepped over the "little guy"so in the end they could receive a higher pay, promotion, and recognition.
The church leaders have stated to the affect of, "We live in the world, not of the world." We need to know that there is competition out there. But, competition is of the world. Christ did not compete why should we? He is the true example of how to be in all things.

Trust
Through the discussion in class on Tuesday the 16th I learned that intrapersonal and interpersonal attributes is how someone can act in a certain situation. For a person to be an effective communicator, leader and worker in any field, it is important that they have trust in themselves which then enables others around them to inherently trust them.
In the case study which I read for class it shows that fear of self, dominated this case. Some of leaders of this particular job had of lack of trust which produced fear of blame and fault. I feel that some of this leaders overlooked the obvious problems. They were just looking to benefit themselves instead of the group as a whole.
Lack of trust in one self
leads to Fear
leads to ineffective communication
leads to unorganized behavior of ones self
leads to unorganized behavior of other around them
These is what happen in this case.
A true leader would look at all problems and trust in themselves to organize and implement a plan of action. Whether it saved the project or the project failed. They would trust in themselves to do it. And take a stand of dishonor or praise.

The Church Organization system
Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I never realized that the organization of the church was so detailed and specific.
Each group of the Church has its own unique duties and function.
I learned that each person in each group, whether it is Young Women or the Primary has a part of the Church as a whole. Their role is vital on how smooth the Church may function.
I have learned that there is no reason to be ashamed to say that my education of organization skills started with leadership positions and other affiliation with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am pleased that I am member of this great institution.
